Lazy Days Cottage boasts three well-appointed bedrooms on the upper floor, comfortably accommodating six people plus a travel cot. It features an enclosed cottage-style front garden with access to a well-maintained paved and lawned garden at the rear and side. Off-street parking is available for one car behind the cottage, with additional on-street parking nearby. Dogs are warmly welcomed.
Downstairs, the private front door opens into a generous hallway leading to the upper floor. The hall flows into a bright, open-plan living/dining room with a large wood burner and access to a downstairs WC/cloakroom. The newly fitted kitchen at the back of the cottage includes a Bosch electric oven/grill, Bosch induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, filter coffee machine, toaster, Nespresso machine, kettle, and washing machine.
The lounge/diner is a spacious, luminous area extending from the front to the back of the cottage, offering comfortable seating for six guests, along with a high chair. Entertainment is provided by a large digital flat-screen TV with satellite channels through a Freesat box, which also allows personal Netflix account access, a DVD player, a Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4), and a BOSE wireless sound system. Large French doors open to the rear patio and garden, inviting outdoor dining.
A cozy wood burner stove stands as the centerpiece of the family room, complemented by oil-fired central heating and free unlimited high-speed WiFi.
The cottage is equipped with a vast selection of family toys, games, and books, as well as two stair gates, bathroom steps, child-friendly kitchenware, and a travel cot, making it an ideal family retreat. All bed linen and towels are provided (excluding beach/dog towels). The semi-detached cottage is a non-smoking environment, with the exception of the outdoor patio area.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms designed to ensure a restful night's sleep after a day of seaside adventures or village exploration.
The rear garden is securely enclosed, making it safe for dogs, and features patio paving, a landscaped lawn, and a gravel seating area. On sunny days, guests can enjoy outdoor furniture that seats six for dining and relaxation.
Adjacent to the garden is an exclusive parking space with a new electric vehicle (EV) charging point. It's a single-phase untethered AC electric vehicle charger with a type 2 socket. For safety, gates are installed at the top and bottom of the stairs, front and rear exit doors are fitted with new regulation thumb turn locks and the property is equipped with two CO2 monitors, interconnected fire alarms, a fire extinguisher near the front door, emergency lighting, and a fire blanket in the kitchen. Additionally, the wood burner receives regular maintenance.
